Yes, sure.

I tried some times to use events + firewall and i never had success,
but as i don't use them, i didn't take a deeper look at it.

But now i'm using IBReplicator, and it uses events, and for it to work
i had to expose my server to the internet (my replication server uses
a remote configuration database).
