Normal setup..
Client connects on 3050 to FB1.5.2
then I introduce zebedee which tunnels on 3053.
I have no problem connecting to the DB using zebedee
but the events raise an exception saying it can't . I have the default
setting in firebird.conf (i.e. no change so 0 is default for remoteauxport.)
I get an exception with wording to the effect that a port for events cannot
be established.
This exception is not recoverable and demolishes the TCP stack on the
server. I have to reboot the box if I try to connect again it locks up
completely.
Anyone care to remind me what aux port I should be setting for events so
they too get thru? shoudl it be set to the same port as the zebedee tunnel?
