No, at least I can't. That error should never occur - it suggests a
coding problem in gbak, probably around error recovery, but why that
would show up on one system and not others baffles me.

1) The exact same backup file restores correctly on other systems, right?

2) Are there any disk errors - e.g. out of disk space - on the failing
system?
