I dont know if it is a matter of luck, but i was
(actually, i still am) a completely novice on linux
(but not on firebird) when i first tried slckware, and
every ran absolutely fine. I have moved the servers at
almost all my customers to slack (text mode, no gui)
and have had no problems at all since them.
