Hi,

We have the same problem when trying to do a restore af a DB. Before
the restore begins we do a shutdown of the DB. Every user connected to
DB will get disconnected. Once shutdown we want to rename that DB
incase restore fails. If those users who were disconnected from DB
don't quit their apps rename fails aka lock not released. Isn't there
a more userfriendly approach of shutdown, warn connected users or
don't shutdown if there are still active connections
