IBConsole is an old tool designed for Interbase. How long does it take
with gbak (the version that came with the FB version you are using)? I
would be pretty annoyed if it took 41 seconds for a 2MB DB.

gbak -B localhost:MyDB c:\out.fbk -user SYSDBA -password masterke -v

Obviously change as applicable
