Btw. with my service there is written: "Firebird Server - Default Instance" <-- is this normal? i have seen only listings without "Default instance"!
Additionaly i have for
RootDirectory: C:\Program Files\Firebird\
ExternalTablesDir: External
i used the tool Firebird Configuration Manager but somehow it doesn't write the changed informations to the firebird.conf
