borlands IBX(jeff overcash) has interbase only support.
So it is unawere of FB enhancements
and will be incompatible with FB in the near future.
We abandoned using of IB and IBX when Firebird project started.
Sorry, i don't know current state of IBX if it works with port
option or not.
FIBPlus, Zeoslib(free) works great, IBObjects too.
They are Firebird friendly.
