side newbie question on the configuration file. Is
firebird.conf used by the embedded engine? I have the
same problem creating an external file, after I added:

ExternalFileAccess = Full

to the firebird.conf located in the dir with my app,
fbembed.dll, & firebird.msg, I'm still getting the
'Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error...'
message.
Or is this something i can configure via the
connectionString?

Using:
embedded v1.5.2 with
.NET Data Provider 1.6
