yes, Ivan, you are perfectly right, but in the United States and other
American countries the format is mm/dd/yy (even with two figures for the
year). Anyway the default format in Firebird is MM/DD/YYYY, it seems to me
that I have read it somewhere, and that's why I use that format to build my
SQL scripts.
