I prefer YYYY-MM-DD because it is unambiguous.
I hate the mess when misinterpreting MM/DD/YYYY vs DD/MM/YYYY.

Who on Earth (it is a question, not curse :-) use month-day-year format ?
Salvatore, I thought whole Europe (including Italy) uses day-month-year order. Or not?
