I have no experience moving from the BDE whatsoever, but I do know
that Jason a few years ago made it so that moving from the BDE to IBO
should be as simple as possible - he even claimed that doing the
transformation shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or 1 hour (I don't
quite remember). Though this was only from BDE to TIBO, not to TIB_
which is the recommended part of IBO with all the goodies (the TIBO
components have only some of the goodies easily available). And there
may be some minor things that cannot be converted (though I say this
because I don't know). Hence, IBO should be the simplest (and the
best) alternative available when converting from the BDE. FIB+ is - as
far as I know - more similar to IBX.
