Hi Aage,
Version 5.2 just means that it is Windows 2003 (5.1 is XP and 5.0 is
2000).
[snipped report]
Sometimes I notice that FB server seems to use more than one
processor, when loading data, for example. But I cannot say this
for sure, as the DB server is also a terminal server and the DB
applications run on this server.
I also observed that during computionally expensive operations (creating
indices, long running queries) the server process just uses one
CPU (with 100%, as you observed). This made me conclude that the
default CPU affinity of Firebird works fine.
I have not yet tried to switch off HT, as I am satisfied with the
server performance. But it would be interesting to hear about your
experiences when you have tried it.

Version 5.2 just means that it is Windows 2003 (5.1 is XP and 5.0 is
2000).
