One more time
I haven't had much experience in databases - I've ended with Total and
derivates 20 years ago.
After 15 years i've started with Interbase and then Firebird.
If you know what you want and if you know what you're doing it's good.

If You think, that exists THE PERFECT database - then you are thinking wrong

What I meant is not that the individual statement would be faster -
that's obviously wrong - but that the design of the database engine
includes a tradeoff that benefits read/write concurrency and hurts the
performance of queries that might otherwise be handled without reference
to data. Sorry I was unclear.
