Yes.
This became possible with FB152. (You can even have Interbase and FB on
the same machine.)
However, both FB servers must be "listening" on different ports.
The default is port 3050.
You'll need to over-ride this in the firebird.conf file for the second
installation.
This is well documented in the FB docs available at the FirebirdSQL.org
site.
I have never installed two instances of FB on the same machine, however,
I have not discovered any issues with this in my readings of the docs.
