I don't know any databases which are that bad. They all have good
performance in the area they are designed for and in the area in which
developers and users understand them. There are pros and conns for all of
them. You choose them based on what you are trying to do. They all have
trade off if wehat you want to do goes against the basics of their design.
SQL databases are not designed to work thru all records in a table like
desktop systems are - they need a different approach from the developers to
get to teh same end point.
