Anyhoo, we try and use database independent software, but in this
case we use IBObjects for backup/restore/shut down.
I can't see the options that you say are available.
ie. The ability to shut down immediately only if no one else is
connected.
From what I recall if you try to attempt a shutdown and others
are connected. IBOObjects will lock up.
But I will investigate this.
