matter what value you set for the interval and no matter how long it is
between backup/restore cycles.
I you set it to 0 (as I have done for many server years now), then you can
manually activate sweep if you want, or just do a backup/restore cycle as
part of your maintenance and don't bother with sweep at all.
Others may recommend doing sweep (with gfix) nightly on a scheduled basis.
Do it in a low activity period. I stick to B/R cycles 6-12 months - at the
default 20000, sweep would take years to be called in my cases.
