I too am having network problems (over time) with events. Is all I need to
do is change the RemoteAuxPort and restart Firebird?

I'm not sure what I have to do (if anything) to make sure I use the new port
value. I'm using Delph 7 with the TIBEvent components.

OK. I solved it.
RemoteAuxPort determines port used for Event Notification! It was set
to default, meaning random port was used. I set it up to 13050 and it
is working fine now.
