propably have no recognizable difference.
It's the same code!
If you switch from MS SQL server to firebird, there might be a change,
either much faster or much slower, depending on what you do with your
database and how it is optimized!
Remeber, you question was about a dedicated database server. All this is not
true for combined servers....
