At first look, I would say, firebird resolves a dynamic link from
/opt/firebird to /opt/firebirdSS-1.5.1 and then checks the access rights.
In fact, you denied access to /opt/firebirdSS-1.5.1.
Allow access to /opt/firebirdSS-1.5.1 as well and try again.
