What you are saying is that there is difference between NTFS NT4 SP6 and
NTFS W2K SP2?
Yes, they are different versions of NTFS, I can't remember the exact version
numbers but its something like V1.2 on 2k and 1.0 or something on NT4, and
1.3 or something under winxp. On earlier versions of w2k and on xp it would
auto convert the partition to the newer version, thereby rendering it
useless to use that disk on a non 2k/xp box.
Cheers

Some would say that it is obvious - but not to me, if they call BOTH NTFS,
not NFTF 1 and 2 or NTFS Plain and NTFS MX etc.
As NT4 is not really around anymore - that means a .fdb file on Win2K SP2
and above (and Linux???) can be LARGE i.e HUGE i.e like TB's in size (even 1
TB will do - for a while<g>) Great Stuff!
