Go for the latest one: 1.5.1. AFAIK, there's only one - Classic.

Yup, well that's for Windows. It won't do you much good on a
Mac. :-) Just make sure you rescue a good copy of the Windows client.

There ought to be and I've been nagging at Mac users for a while now to
share what they know. One place I'd definitely recommend going is the
firebird-devel archive at news://news.atkin.com and search for John
Bellardo's postings in response to previous questions about installing on
Mac. John did the Darwin ports. (It looks horrendously complicated to me
- pieces go in completely different places than on a Linux install but no
doubt it makes some sort of sense to a Mac person :-)) ).

Aw, thanks.

Gosh, we're everywhere. 5 million in NSW and 4.9 million on the main
islands. :-))

Kia ora!
