What's the page size of the database and what is the value for page
buffers? Run gstat -h to get these values.

Possibly it is a database previously used under SuperServer, now using
Classic, and due to a somewhat high page buffers value (in combination
with 130+ connections), the cachable memory exceeds the maximum
available memory?

Just a thought.
