You suppose I tested my app with a copy of which database? the asta one?

I cannot really test much in their environment. I am at their mercy as
it its a city. They have many, many layers of security and I just have
to recommend to them what to test. I am waiting to hear back from them
from some testing as to see if it hangs immediately on a bde connection
or during the course of my program running, etc. In the mean time i was
just looking for theoretical things that might cause one applications
use of firebird to affect another application's use of firebird.
