But maybe this is already enough information for you:
The Firebird code licenses allow you to ship and install Firebird with
your application. No permission needed, no fees to pay, no need to
open-source your app.
Only if you change the Firebird source code itself and rebuild it, or
if you incorporate Firebird source code in modules of your own, there
are additional requirements which you *must* make sure to meet.
Legacy Borland/Inprise code is released under the InterBase Public

New code is released under the Initial Developer's Public License:
