Subject Re: [firebird-support] Database File size
Author Christian Stengel
Hi,

make a backup and a restore, and the size is reduced.

When deleting records, firebird does not reduce the filesize of the
databasefile. If you insert records after the delete, firebird will use
the free space in the database file.
