I don't use those double quotes either. They introduce case problems,
but you can use keywords for object names. Also a nastiness, IMO.

Actually, it's a "forward compatibility issue" :-)

They were introduced in Dialect 3 in InterBase 6 so that it was
compatible with some SQL standard...
