How/Where is the outside world connected?
Given that there is not a problem internally, the problem will be how
the linux box sees the outside world. If it is via the windows box ...
I have a routing hub on the ADSL connection, and both my windows and
linux machines are as fast as one another when accessed from the other
side of that - but I have to use different ports as I only have a single
IP address in the outside world ;)
