This doesn't answer your question but...
I know of a company whose product supports 3 different databases (??? -
Old style database, Interbase and SQL server) I believe. This is a
terrible situation where they essentially have to build a database to
the restrictions of all three databases. No Stored procedures or
triggers and numeric table names I believe !!!
I know that supporting certain DBs (SQL server) is great from a
marketing perspective but it sure wrecks havick with a product!
