Subject Re: [firebird-support] Problems with XP home?

I have never had Firebird run on XP Home, but Firebird on XP Home should
pose no problems I guess. Have you ported your app and db to other
platforms and is it only XP Home that gives you trouble?
Error Code -901 could mean a lot of things
(http://firebird.sourceforge.net/doc/contrib/fb_1_5_errorcodes.pdf).
The people who know the fix to your problem might want to know if you
did a backup and restore for the db.
Do you use the same Firebird release?
If so the next step what I would look for is, does a newly created
(test) db work on the XP Home box? Just to see if Firebird is correctly
installed.
Can you query the test db in IBObjects or in some other tool?
Maybe you've done that already, let us know.
