I had problems with earlier versions of FB ODBC driver, then contacted
Vladimir, and send the logs, the problem is that Crystal uses the "call"
statement to run a procedure and the ODBC driver doesn't know if the
"call" statement should be converted to a "select * from procedure" or
"execute procedure"
Vladimir did a change on the driver, that analyses the procedure BLR
code to search for the suspend statement, so it could call correctly a
selectable SP if it's the case.
The version 1.02.00.69 that is the oficial/lastest 1.2 version, had this
fix, since this, I have used SP's with Crystal without problems. I had a
bunch of old reports that have a lot of hacks to do the job, if SP's
worked from the begining those reports have used SP's instead of simples
selects, and all those hacks won't be necessary, I am very happy that
now I can use SP's but I haven't done anything special regarding it, I
just use it.
I think you could join the ODBC driver list, and asks Vladimir, he is
the ODBC guru.
see you and good luck !
