The whole DB: 7 TB (theoretical limit of course).
File systems usualy have a far lower limit, but Firebird/Interbase
allows for many files per DB. In Windows:
FAT32: 2 GB
NTFS: 4 GB
Maximum # of files per DB is 65535 including shadows. In practice
that number is limited by the OS on the number of files each process
can open.
<shamelessplug>I borrowed all that values from the always wonderfully
complete and autoritative "The Firebird Book" by Helen Borrie, being
sold in ibphoenix.com and amazon.com. A must have book.
