I the mean time we had to get back to FB 1.0 and put that server back into
production mode - due to some archive data that somebody needed. So when the
server gets back into our hands i will check what you suggest and let you know
the results.
The udf is the old good one udflib.so.
But one thing is bothering me
since the firebird is running as root user what is the sense setting the
directory rights to firebird/firebird.
