I have tried isql with whole scripts before. No problems with isql yet. I
tended to use IB Workbench since it has line numbers to the side which are
usefull in gauging how much of the script has processed and how much is
left.
About the investigating, I am trying to get an answer right now. I would
like to tell my supervisors that this is not going to happen again, but I
still don't even know what happened.

Actually, I was asking whether you tried isql with _whole_ scripts,
not just missing statements.
Every scripting tool use it's own parser. It is quite possible that
IB Workbench has a bug in it. On the other hand FB may have a bug in
DSQL processing, so if your big scripts with isql also miss some
statements it may be the case and require a serious investigating.
