Are you sure? (Well, of course you are sure, why else would you make this
report.)

There is no special code in the installer that says 'Hah we won't allow a
client-only install because this is platform X'. At least, nothing that I
can recall.

On the other hand, the client-only install is currently broken anyway.
(You get a little more installed than you might expect.) It will get
fixed for the next release.
