The message obviously comes from InterBase. Period. Firebird doesn't
have such an error message.

This might be the wrong message too.

The InterBase/Firebird client library get their messages from a file
"interbase.msg" or "firebird.msg" - make sure you have the one
from Firebird, rename it if you still use "gds32.dll" and try again.
