I have always used the superserver version. If I start using classic, are
there any "gotchas" I need to be aware of?

One of my clients has a duel processor on order.

You want to be using Classic for multi - processor. "Properly" depends
on your
perspective, but Vulcan is probably the version you will be interested in.
