Glebas,

FB 1.0 has version for 32 and 64 bits I/O, the 64 bits remove this
limitation, and the limit goes form FB to the filesystem.

FB 1.5 and earlier are all 64 bit I/O friendly so the limit you
encounter are in your filesystem.
