Just to make sure that I am running the right versions of Firebird, do you
have links for those installs? We have not installed xinetd. We have
installed to server edition of Fedora Core with every component.

Hi Ben,

I guess I am not clear on what is wrong. You got the rpm and
installed it on the server right? Now if you do a "netstat -an" do you
see it listening on port 3050? You are installing classic server right?
Do you have xinetd installed and running?
