Thank you ann, will try backup an restore the table.
The same is still empty.
But I still need to insert 400 fields more or less!

Will it be possible?

(Or will it be better to already create a new table with the 600 fields?)

You have modified that table 255 times since it was created.
The alternatives are to backup and restore the database (best)
or create an identical table, pump the data from that table
to the new table, delete the old table, recreate it, and pump
the data back.
