'masterke' and 'masterkey' and 'masterkebab' are all identical passwords.

GSEC will let you enter 'masterkey' or 'masterkebab' but it will give you a
warning if there are more than 8 characters. However, you'll never really
know what it actually stored, will you? <g>

Some third-party tools might get mean and limit you to 8 characters, but
it's not a Firebird limitation.
