Hi
Interbase, and then decided I want to switch back to Interbase. Uninstalled
Firebird and reinstalled Interbase.
Just out of couriosity, why did you decide to switch back?
And by the way: You can install both at the same time. Just use different
ports and take care of gds32.dll.
Oh, this might be a solution. Take care to remove gds32.dll BEFORE
installing interbase again.
This is the client library and the newer one from firebird might not be able
to communicate with older interbases, i don't know exaclty.
However, if access from remote mashines works, that might be the problem.
(Did you remember to upgrade remote systems client library when switching
from interbase to firebird?)
Regards,
Steffen
