There is no function, since this has nothing to do with the manipulation or
storage of data.

I won't ask you to say why reading a line from a plain text file and
parsing it is difficult, since this isn't a Delphi forum. However
(off-topic) I do suggest you look up the Delphi help on file routines and
string functions...
