Did you install it as service?
If yes, did you select to start the service?
If not, did you start the server as application?
What operating system do you use?
What happens, when you use "telnet 127.0.0.1 3050"?
What shows you tcpview.exe (google for it, it's free)?
Any more information?
Could you try ibexpert personal (free)?
Can you connect using isql?
