I ran into this issue as well. Are there any plans to be able to
encrypt a firebird database? What I ended up doing was encrypting
all the table and column names so it is pure gibberish and would
make it harder for someone else to figure out. But it would be
dandy if Firebird could encrypt the data automagically.
