Hi Francisco,
(bit in a hurry, wil be back in 5-6 hrs)
while you copied it.
Advice: try to connect to the example database on the 98 machine (see
my other post). If that works, you can assume your Firebird is OK.
Then use gbak on XP to backup your original db (if it's still good!),
copy the backup file to the 98 machine and restore it there with gbak
-r.
