Sure, just put 40 characters in it...




Naah, on the serious side:
No, you can't. The only way to do this is to adjust the
Firebird sourcecode and it's On Disk Structure to hold
a larger number of characters for object names.

I believe this is planned for Firebird 2.0 - but I'm not
sure about that.
