Where is the right place to post such a feature request? You could
do it on sourceforge, or in the firebird-architect group, or maybe
in the forum at www.firebirdsql.org (to bodly post where noone has
posted before...)

I read the suggested roadmap at www.firebirdsql.org and it wasn't
included as a planned feature, so I thought maybe I could raise the
issue.
