I am just about to start a course, but I am under some pressure to
get going with Firebird also. I have used Interbase on Windows, but
on Linux that is different.

But, referring to my message above you may not be all that surprised
to know that I do not fully understand it.

Can't remember who asked but is Classic Server.

Is Firebird running please?
